Wardrobe ChroniclesThrough the process of dressing paper cutout figures, stories unfold. These dolls, represented globally, bring light to the silent crimes women endure universally. The closet that houses the dolls also includes a shelf for small books. The pamphlet books recount stories, by women, of dignity and hope. A blue scarf with silkscreened names provide a backdrop for this installation. This project was created with the help of many women. Wardrobe Chronicles is a 2" x 6" x 6" closet which contains small books, a scarf, and 15 female figures. The closet/box is covered with cork paper, also used is Epson Radiant white watercolor paper, vellum, and Canson Miteintes. Edition of 4, $1800.
