Someday My Prince Will Come
In Someday, Marilyn Zimmerman tells the story of playing dress-up with her daughter. This “feminist-professor-mother” is clearly frustrated by her daughter’s insistence upon acting the role of the princess, who has to be saved. The pages (shaped like fairy-tale costumes) are jumbled in a quilted dress-up box, with rubber-stamped text on hand-made paper and quilted fabric “illustrations.”
