A Robot Must Obey...

...orders given to it by human beings. Czech writer Karel Capek first used the word “Robot”, than science fiction writer Isaac Asimov created the “Three Laws of Robotics” that have become universal in science fiction literature. I Robot is an accordion book structure in a robot’s body. Each sculpture is hand crafted, created with plasticine and metal parts, with a special patina. Designed, created and published by Jan and Jarmila Sobota of Loket, Czech Republic. Book is 2.5” x 2.5”, matching clamshell box is 3.5” x 3.35”. Edition of 30, $350.
